Network Management Solutions

The Group is well-positioned to offer portfolio of network management solutions (NMS), and is able to combine multiple functionality of network management software under a centralized network management location.

CPEM 8000 Power and Environmental Monitoring System

The CPEM 8000 Power and Environment Monitoring System monitors the performance and efficiency of a telecommunications network. It enables telecommunications service providers to perform remote and centralized monitoring, alarming and management control of the power supply and environmental conditions in each of the sub-stations and facilities within the network, using censoring, remote control and surveillance technologies.

Local Exchange Network Management and Monitoring System

The Local Exchange Network Management and Monitoring System enables telecommunications service providers to perform remote and centralized monitoring and management control of the local exchanges within a PSTN at various locations from a centralized location. It performs configuration, fault, performance and maintenance management functions to support the proper functioning of the local exchange network.

IIN-Acterna PSTN SS7 Signaling Monitoring System

IIN-Acterna PSTN SS7 Signaling Monitoring System manages and monitors SS7 signals. SS7 is a specialized protocol by which a telephone network set up, route and terminate telephone calls. The system performs the following functions:
1) real-time monitoring and configuration management of the SS7 signals
2) network fault management which includes administering network events, alarms as well as usage fraud detection
3) performance measurement and statistical analysis on capacity usage and network performance
4) call trace management
5) billing management

Network Management and Safeguard System

The Network Management and Safeguard System provides management solutions and security alarm and safeguard solutions to network systems of large enterprises, including telecommunications services providers. It enables efficient and centralized management control and monitoring of a network system necessary for its stable operation.

IP Network Management and Monitoring System

The first version of the IP network management and monitoring system is completed. The system is developed by Beijing IIN. The Group is now seeking trial sites for trial implementation of the system.

Other Network Solutions

The Group provides network solutions, including design, commissioning, procurement, implementation and maintenance of network systems for customers in other market sectors in the PRC, such as education institutions, medical institutions, state-owned enterprises and government agencies.

Research and Development

The Group maintains a major research and development function. Based in Hunan and Beijing, the R&D teams have ready access to the latest technology and immediate knowledge of market trends. The Group also works in close collaboration with its various strategic partners to develop new network solutions and products that leverage strengths of both sides. Some of the major products and services are in the pipeline:

Internet Data Center Solution
IP Network Management and Monitoring System

Internet Data Center Solution

The Group's services in relation to Internet Data Center Solution involves the setting up of a centralized location to provide network solutions focusing on network facilities management and control as well as network data collection and analysis for the ISPs and other users. The Internet Data Center Solution to be offered by the Group involves:
Setting up of an intranet data center
Providing management solutions to the data center with the following features:

management control of the functioning and security of the servers and related facilities
management of database usage
management functions in a broadband data network including network performance management, network traffic analysis and billing functions
safety measure management
management of power supply and environmental conditions of an Internet Data Center

Latest development
This solution has been successfully completed and the Group will offer this service through Beijing IIN. The Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with IBM China to explore the PRC telecommunications market. The first co-operation project will be this Internet Data Center Solution.
